China Glaze Sweet Hook with OPI Steady as She Rose shown in the center. OPI Lucky Lucky Lavender could have been another dupe but it doesn't come close since it has more lavender than pink.

China Glaze Techno

China Glaze Wicked Style
Aquadelic – crème aqua blue with a splash of green; it has more neon tones than For Audrey.
Dance Baby – crème mid-tone cool baby blue
Electric Beat – crème periwinkle…it does have more blue but not nearly as much as my camera picked up. Secret Periwinkle has more purple but isn’t as stark.
Fuchsia Fanatic – crème fuchsia pink with purple tones
Gaga for Green – crème grass green with yellow tones. I was really hoping for more of a creaming somewhat pastel green from the press pictures. It’s a shade (maybe a shade and a half) lighter than Starboard and less blue. Both pretty but I don’t think you need both in your stash.
Gothic Lolita – mid-tone purple with multi-dimensional purple, pink, and blue shimmer. It’s very pretty color that gives almost an iridescent glow.
Kinetic Candy – crème light blue crème. Everything about this color is perfect, I love that it doesn’t have too much turquoise of green.
Make Some Noise – crème tangerine. It’s a tad milder than High Hopes, which is brighter, but both are equally pretty.
Sunshine Pop – mildly frosted sunny yellow
Sweet Hook – crème lilac with hues of pink. In the bottle it looks like OPI Steady as She Rose, but once on the nail it doesn’t look similar at all.
Techno – clear base with chunk and small hexagon glitter. Kind of tired of seeing this combination. I think we can retire it now.
Wicked Style – crème pink that actually does remind me of tropical punch
As much as I love this collection, I feel that CG was a little too ‘laxed with this collection. Don’t get me wrong this collection has some collections that you’ll definitely want to hunt down, but with the high amount of dupes in this collection I can’t really tell where their focus was…possibly on the Hung Games Collection?
I found the application to be consistent across the board; they were all somewhat on the thicker side but with even color payoff. Many of the colors could have been 1-coaters but I used 2 coats for each swatch. The color payoff of the creamy pastels (Dance Baby, Kinetic Candy, and Sweet Hook) were great; which is good because most can really be a pain to apply with noticeable lines and blotchiness. I did notice some inconsistencies with the brushes; some were thin, others were thick and flared out at the tip making it difficult to apply. I’ve always talked about how China Glaze doesn’t have the best brushes. I can only hope they improve on this in the future. Brands often found at drugstores for around the same price have better brushes than these.
