Fashion Gods forgive her for she knows not what she’s doing! I don’t know where to start with Nicki Minaj and her look I could’ve sworn I wasn’t watching afternoon mass. I had to check the channel again when I looked up and saw Nicki looking like A Catholic version of Little Red Riding Hood in her red Versace Ateleir cape dress. I’m at such a loss for words with this outfit definitely an out of the box outfit, that could’ve stayed in the box. Here’s a simple outfit that in my head Nicki could’ve and should’ve worn.

Time flew! It was only in October that this was just a rumored collection making its waves across the ‘net, and now it’s finally here. The 6-piece limited edition Nicki Minaj by OPI might be one of the most anticipated polish collections we’ve ever seen, and I’m sure it’s only a sign of things to come when it comes to celebrity ventures. I almost feel that I’ve had such high expectations for this collection that it would be nearly impossible for them to be reach. But it came pretty darn close. The formulas were great (for the most part) but a couple colors fell short. I think this collection could have been done a tad early in Nicki’s career considering she’s releasing a second album that’s slated to be released mid to late Spring. A lot of the names are plays off her first album “Pink Friday”.
Fly – an aquatic turquoise green that wears like a crème but have characteristics of a jelly
Metallic For Life – jelly black base with small and large silver hex glitter. It took 3 coats because of the jelly base but the color is gorgeous. Your best bet is to use a thin coat of crème black before applying this color.
Pink Friday – bubblegum pink crème. The pigmentation was great but the formula was applying evenly and it required 3 coats.
Save Me – clear base packed with small tarnished sliver glitter and blue, pink, and aqua green holographic bar glitter. The idea was there. We can tell from the promo photos that was released that the concept was truly there but it fell short. I initially thought I could wear this one alone but I’ll have to pair it with other colors.
Did It on Em – crème chartreuse with yellow tones. If you missed OPI Shrek Forever After Collection a couple years back you’ll want to grab this one, but if you already have it you may want to save you coins.
Super Bass Shatter – deep shimmer violet shatter. Apply shatters over dry nail color in one coat, using one stroke.

Yet another look Brandy was rocking and I loved it! Brandy rocked a multi-colored tweed short set a heathered white shirt which tied into the outfit perfectly. She paired the looked with the YSL Tribtoo Cap Toe Pumps. I love the versatility of tweed especially with this look tweed was major staple in Chanel’s early days, and I’m glad to see tweed hasn’t died out.

Raven-Symoné was out and about in LA doing some shopping with her mom and some random dude with a humongous afro. Raven wore some red shawts, black thigh high boots, and a cute cropped leather jacket. Not one of my favorite looks for Raven but she’s definitely showing off her svelte figure. Only in LA or Miami can booty shawts be worn in the middle of winter. I see Raven has joined #TeamBootyShawts, her and Rhi Rhi are reppin for #TeamBootyShawts!
One half of the Pastry dynasty, Vanessa Simmons is branching out on her own and launching a lingerie line. Vanessa says her lingerie will “provide woman of all sizes with a unique experience that only a clothing item as intimate as lingerie can provide“. There will be a few different collections available. What are your thoughts on her new business endeavor? Out of the 3 lines so far I would say the Vintage Chic is favorite from description at least.

I decided to take a trip to Downtown LA as usual and noticed the high amount of fake MAC Cosmetics. Lo and behold it is there and in an abundance!
Downtown LA is the place you can go for everything and when I say everything I mean everything and not everything is fake. I buy plenty of fragrances there all the time. Here are a few things I observed while downtown on my mission.
Nonetheless don’t buy MAC from Downtown LA; if you purchased it from The Alley it’s fake so please beware! Buying counterfeit makeup can have so many negative side affects, you don’t know what is in these products or what adverse affect it’ll have on your skin. Seeing as how we live in lawsuit happy Los Angeles who are you going to sue when your fake MAC maims your skin? Is the $10.00 you spent worth losing an eye? I didn’t think so so with that being said don’t buy your MAC off of a street corner. Bell Sugar has a great post on how to spot fake cosmetics, so if you’re unsure please check it out here.
Hear ye Hear ye all you nay sayers doubters and haters, Bey has delivered her baby!!!! In my head she has some over the top baby fashion and her wardrobe is probably setup and picked out down to her wedding dress. Baby Girl Carter is going to be in the lushest of pashminas, Egyptian silk. They’re going to bathe her in water from the French Alps where her Uncle Kanye had a château built from the ground up. She’ll vacation in Maldives and Sasha and Malia Obama will babysit her.
